When you invest in a metal building, you want to know it will last. That’s why every TOL building comes with a limited lifetime warranty on paneling. We back both the material and the installation, so you have peace of mind from day one.
The Warranties We Offer
Every building we create features the following warranties:
Limited Lifetime Paneling Warranty
Your building panels are covered under a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This covers the panels’ substrate and finish under normal conditions for the lifetime of the purchaser.
Not covered: Misuse, impact damage, corrosive exposure, drainage issues, or unapproved modifications.
To file a claim, you’ll just need to provide your order or invoice number, photos of the problem, the site, and the installation date.
90-Day Workmanship Warranty
Our crews stand behind their work with a 90-Day Workmanship Warranty. This warranty covers the workmanship of your structure, including panel fit, fastening, flashing, and proper anchoring. If it’s not right, we’ll make it right.
Not covered: Site settlement, uneven bases, unauthorized alterations, or severe weather outside of your ordered code package.
To file a claim on your building’s craftsmanship, share your order/invoice number, photos, and a brief description of what you’re seeing and when it started. You’ll want to report issues quickly.
Common Metal Building Warranty Exclusions
No warranty can cover every situation. Here are the most common exclusions to keep in mind:
Though our warranty coverage is fairly comprehensive, there are still some exemptions you’ll want to keep in mind. The following can void your warranty coverage
- Poor site preparation, weak bases, or bad drainage.
- Misuse, impact damage, alterations, or unapproved modifications.
- Damage not reported after delivery or installation.
- Environmental buildup, such as leaves, standing water, or corrosive materials.
- Loads beyond your ordered code package, or extreme events outside of spec.
- Normal wear and tear, cosmetic scratches, or lack of routine maintenance.
Adding options like vertical roofs, gutters, and extra anchors can extend the life of your building.
